The objective of this project was to assemble as well as spot weld pressed stainless steel .

This is part of a large assembly line. A confidentiality agreement has been signed therefore no additional information will be given, other than that below.

The weld heads shown in the picture opposite, move in a linear direction driven by a servo drive, once in position the forward and backward motion of the individual weld heads are controlled by pneumatic systems.

Three of these machines were built, installed and commissioned worldwide.
